How Points Work

Every practice run and every daily challenge earns points. Here is exactly how, and what the points do for you.

🎯 The short version

Points show how much you practise. They are not money. Your total never goes down, and you cannot spend points on anything. There is no shop, no paid hints and no extra tries to buy. Points move up your level, your tier and your place on the leaderboard.

Each level needs more XP than the last one (1 point = 1 XP). As your level goes up, you move up a tier: Apprentice → Scholar → Mentor → Master → Cambridge Fellow.

Practice never counts toward your school grades. Points are only for fun and for the leaderboard.

⚡ Practice + Daily Challenge

You earn points for every right answer. Harder questions are worth more. A practice run has at least 5 questions, and the last one is a boss question: one level harder than the rest. The daily challenge has 5 questions. Everyone in your grade gets the same set, and it starts again at midnight (Jakarta time).

WhatPracticeDaily Challenge
Each right answer — easy / medium / hard+5 / +8 / +10+5 / +8 / +10
Finishing the run (with at least one right answer)+10+50
3 or more right answers in a row+10+10
5 or more right answers in a row (instead of +10)+20+20
Perfect run — every answer right (5+ questions)+30+30
Beating the boss question+15—
Your first try at today's challenge, in each subject—+25

Example: a 10-question run with 8 right (3 easy, 4 medium, 1 hard), 5 in a row and the boss beaten earns 15 + 32 + 10 + 10 + 20 + 15 = 102 points.

Power-ups: every time you get 3 right in a row, your next question may turn into a harder one, worth more points. Warm-up: when you are new to a subject, a run on Any difficulty starts with easier questions and has no hard ones, and its boss is a medium question. Every Any run goes from easier to harder questions. If you get 2 wrong in a row, your next question may turn into an easier one, so you can get back on track. Daily limit: points count for your first 20 practice runs each day. After that you can keep practising, but the run earns 0 points.

🗺️ Chapter medals (Journey map)

On the Journey map every coursebook is a world and every chapter has a medal. Once you earn a medal, you keep it.

Silver12 answers, and 6 of your last 10 right+25
Gold20 answers, and 8 of your last 10 right+50

⚔️ Rematch deck

When you miss a question, it goes into your rematch deck. It comes back the next day, then 3 days later, then 7 days later. Get it right all three times and it is cleared for good. Right answers in a rematch are worth ×1.5 points. This is how the hub helps you remember what you learn, not just score it once.

🛡️ Weekly leagues + School Cup

The first time you earn points in a week, you join a league group of up to 30 students at your stage (Grade 7–8, 9–10 or 11–12) from across the network. On Monday morning the week ends: the top of each group moves up a league (you need at least 100 points that week), and in big groups the bottom few move down one. The leagues are Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Legend.

Every week one subject is the School Cup subject. The points you earn in it count for your school. Schools are ranked by points per active student, so every player helps.

🔥 Daily streak bonuses

Earn points on a day, and your streak goes up by 1. Days follow Jakarta time. If you miss a day, your streak starts again from 1 the next time you earn points.

MilestoneBonus
Day 7 streak+100
Day 30 streak+250

You get each bonus only once. If your streak breaks and you build it again, the bonus does not pay a second time.

🏅 Levels & tiers

Each level needs more XP than the last one. The rule is: to go from Level N to Level N+1, you need 100 + (N−1) × 50 XP. So Level 1 → 2 needs 100 XP, Level 2 → 3 needs 150 XP, and so on. A new tier does not unlock anything. It is a sign of your effort, and it shows on your dashboard and on the leaderboard.

🦊 Your companion grows with you

You choose one of five companions: Sparky, Ember, Bolt, Luna or Capy. Here they are at the start, as Apprentices.

Your companion changes its look when you reach a new tier: Levels 5, 10, 20 and 35.

There are 60 hats, gear, companions and scenes to collect. You unlock them by levelling up, keeping your streak, finishing practice runs, earning chapter medals, beating boss questions, clearing rematch questions and climbing the weekly leagues. If your school wins a School Cup week, everyone who helped gets the School Cup Pennant. A few come only from the daily chest, and on special days such as Sumpah Pemuda the chest holds a gift you can only get that week. You can never buy anything: you earn all of it with practice, and your points are never spent.

🚫 What points are NOT for

We left these out on purpose. This keeps the hub fair for every student.

✕No paid hints. You can never buy "show me the answer".
✕No spending shop. Points are a score, not a wallet.
✕No penalties. Wrong answers and skipped questions cost zero points.
✕No gifting between students. Your points belong to your account only.

Is your question not answered here? Ask your teacher. They can pass it on to the Eduversal team.
